Dr Tan is an experienced HPB & Transplant surgeon with subspecialty training at the Mayo Clinic, USA, completing a 2-year fellowship in abdominal organ transplantation that is accredited by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. With a special interest in transplant oncology and surgery for advanced cancer, Dr Tan is skilled in complex surgical procedures, and is a minimally invasive (both laparoscopic and robotic) surgeon. His commitment to personalized care has earned him multiple awards for service excellence. Prior to entering private practice, Dr Tan was holding National and Institutional appointments related to transplantation and research, and continues to be involved with his specialty’s society, medical education, and training.
